Many fond memories of Glen as an elevator agent for the Pool and for his commentaries and jokes at our Wheat Pool Committee meetings. And he bought grain from my dad as well! I remember him commenting at one of the meetings how nice it was that he bought grain from the parents of some of the people present at that meeting! He will surely be missed

Lorraine, Wayne, Mitchell and Kenton,
Sorry to hear about your dad’s/grandpa’s passing. Our condolences to all the family. He was one of the friendliest people we have ever had on Langrill Drive. He never drove past our house without a wave or honk to whomever was out in the front yard. Even when he moved just a bit further from us he still referred to us as neighbours and always stopped to chat when we would see him. His friendly character will certainly be missed. May he rest in peace.

We always enjoyed visits with Glenn, and will remember his kindness, sincere interest in others, and his gentle humour. I especially have many wonderful memories of Glenn and Nellie warmly welcoming me into their home as a friend of Kelleen and Lorraine, starting back in high school days, and was always thankful for the connection with them that remained throughout the years.
Kelleen, Jim, Laura, Sesqui, Kelsey, Taylor, Lorraine, Wayne, Mitchell, Jamie, Kenton, Katherine, Benjamin & Claire: Our hearts go out to you as you mourn the loss of your dear dad, grandpa and great-grandpa. His love for and pride in each of you was always evident, and I know you will all miss him dearly.
With sincere sympathy,
Moira & Andrew Warke

I worked at Glenn's elevator when staff were on holidays or he needed the extra help. I helped out and worked at every elevator in the area but Glens was my favorite place to work. As I got to know him I would phone him for advice from time to time. The time when I was really proud was when I gave Glen a tour of a new facility where we talked of past times and present times. As the years past us by are talks were less and less. With that said he would always hold a special place in my heart.

Thoughts and prayers go out to you all! My memories of Glenn go way back when I was very little. Going to the grain elevator with my dad. Glenn always gave special attention and teachings of where the grain went after being dumped. Also gave me some to chew.. He was a very special friend to my dad (Harvey) and to our family. I will hold my memories close. Thinking of you all!!
