We've just heard of Ron's passing earlier today. Our sincere condolences to all his family, friends as well as the entire Killaly community for your loss. Ron was definitely a special "one of a kind man" that could lift your spirits each & every time you spoke with him. His special humor, kind heart, smiling face and positive attitude was so infectious that it was impossible not to smile or laugh out loud right along with him. We'll all certainly miss "Thatcher" as my older brother Barry used to call him but I also feel very fortunate and privileged to have known him over the years. "Happy Trails to You" my friend. R&J.

So sad to hear of Ron's passing- he always had a story to tell , a kind word or a dirty joke to share. He was a great guy who would give you the shirt off his back and would always lend a helping hand. I'm sure he has his own saloon up there and is sitting and having a drink with Jordan watching all the pretty women. He'd always come to work and tell us all the funny things that went on there! The staff at CAA will miss his him!

From all of Uncle Fred and Aunt Violet's family we are thinking of you this week. Ron had a kind-heart and gentle soul who would always greet you with a warm smile no matter how long it was between seeing each other. May the roads rise up to meet you. May the wind blow gentle at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and may the rain fall soft upon your fields. Until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand. Rest easy, Ron. Doug, Christine, Howard , Cheryl and Aunt Violet Exner

We will always remember visiting Ron at his place, and the tour he took us on of what he had built in his yard. He greeted us with rifle in hand as we drove up to his house. What a wonderful old Western cowboy setting he Had created over some period of time . He traveled many miles to gather various artifacts of the old Wild West. We had a friend with us from Arizona who was so happy to see everything as we were. Ron, the good Lord will take care of you. Rest In Peace. We offer our condolences to all of your family. Clay and Vivian Paget Regina
