I met Susan when I began my first job at the Western Development Museum in Yorkton. Susan was a respected boss who became my friend. I admired her work ethic, her respect for others, her leadership skills. We kept in touch for many years after I moved on from the museum, married and moved to Manitoba, but as often happens over time, for no real reason, our contact became less and less. I never forgot Susan though, and the influence she had on my life. I am terribly saddened to learn that she is no longer with us. My deepest and sincerest sympathies to John, Daniel and Matthew!

My family has worked and volunteered at the Yorkton Western Development Museum for many years, and we all knew Susan well. We've shared many laughs and eyebrow-raising moments together, and it's sad to see her go so young and with much still to contribute.

John , Daniel, and Matthew. Your extended family in Toronto and Boston wish you the best memories of a great lady! We enjoyed your visits to us and Susan was always enthusiastic about the boys activities. We looked forward to her e mails and cards keeping us updated on all the happenings. This will be truly missed. She was classy yet humble and her legacy no doubt will live on in the two young men she raised! Cousins Gary, Alexis, and Kristina

My deepest sympathies John, Matthew, and Daniel. Susan was a wonderful person, and a force to be reckoned with. Working with her, Carla, and Blair at the WDM was one of the best times of my life. Laughing with Susan over tea, and hearing her hilarious stories about chasing the Queen's plane with her mother are moments I will cherish forever. Susan taught me quite a few things that I have taken with me in my life. We are all lucky for having known her, and I hope that you all can find some comfort in your wonderful memories with such a beautiful person.

I am so sad to hear of Susanu2019s passing. I worked for Susan at the WDM for four summers. Working for her and Carla was my first job and one of my favourites. Susan taught me so many important skills (including how to clean a bathroom!) and I always had great respect for her. She created a work environment that was productive but also quite a lot of fun! Deepest condolences to John, Matthew, and Daniel. Emily Coupal (nee Tatarniuk)

John, Daniel and Matthew: Words cannot describe the sadness I have for you. Susan loved all 3 of you so dearly. I cherish the memories at our many school and sporting events as we parents cheered on Daniel and Ryley together. Our 'soccer family' was so special and so much fun! Take care of each other .... hugs from Ryley and I.

John and family; I am so sorry to hear of the news of Susan's passing. I first met Susan in Grade 7, and we were friends through high school. Although our paths had not crossed since our 10 year high school reunion, I had thought of her often. In fact, I was just thinking of her the other day, before I learned of her illness and passing. My thoughts are with you and the Mandziuk and Norman families, at this time, and I'm thinking constantly of the wonderful memories and friendship we had. She will be missed. I will light a candle for her this Sunday at church. My husband and I extend our most sincere and deepest sympathies... Fr. Peter and Karen Wasylenko, Saskatoon
