Helen, I will always remember when we drove from Alberta all night to get to your place so we could attend the drag races that weekend. Art toured the boys through his museum (talking about each one, and gave them hats and booklets and posters to keep). We also took many pics which I will show you on a visit. Our thoughts and prayers are there with you today and always. Love, cousin Carla

I got to meet Art a few times at tractor pulls and at his snowmobile museum. Nice guy, willing to go extra for somebody. Thanks Art.

One of my best memories growing up in the mid/late 70u2019s was going out on weekday nights after school and on weekends to break and make trails with Art, when snowmobiling was still barely a thing. For some reason it was always with Art, and not Rick, who at that time was also an avid snowmobiler. I think Art was already fairly settled by that point, while Rick was still chasing girls, and I was still too young to really play that game -) So it was me and him. Snow machines werenu2019t really reliable in those days and not that powerful either, so we never ventured very far. Our (his) skill though was making new trail through bush . Art would just dive in with me blindly following, and given his very meticulous nature, was always sizing up the trees, looking for that special and perfect path. Rarely did he get caught out. Then on the following weekend he would tour the regular Sunday riding group through some of what we had done on those (mainly) weekday nights. Anyway, lots of nostagia there. Thoughts are with Rick, Helen, and family. John Gazdewich (cousin)
