It is with great sadness to learn of the passing of John , I will miss him dearly , I met John at my work place ( Save On Foods ) he was always such a nice man , his smile was contagious and i would call him grandpa which would always make him smile each and every time he would come into the store , always bananas in hand . Always stopped to chat a bit and told me bits and pieces of his life . Each birthday he had , he would make a point of handing me a toonie , first time I received I asked what it was for and he would reply " it's my birthday today go buy yourself a coffee . I would say to him , well then I should be buying you coffee . He would wave his hand and say oh no , you buy yourself a coffee on me ... I am so sorry for your huge loss to all his family . John will surely be missed , I know I will miss him in the store and that sweet smile he always shared .
