Please send my condolences to the Family of Norm Kammer. I went to school with him & also played on the School Basketball team with him. Most times I was center & Norm left or right wing. It amazed me, tho being shorter than the rest, he could go thru the opposition line with out being touched &score. He was faster & sneakier than the rest of us. Especially when we played the Iowa Colored Ghosts. I knew I could count on him to carry the ball. I tried to see him a few years ago when my wife &I travelled thru Melville but he was not around but me his wife. I called him a few weeks ago just to checkup on him, and tell him he was not forgotten , we had a great time sharing memories. We had some great times travelling to different towns & playing BB. Will miss him. Larry Ginther(#69).

We are saddened to hear of Norm's passing. He was a good friend and teammate back in the good old, glory days of The Comets fastball team. Norm was a natural organizer and leader. May his family and friends all be comforted by warm memories and his legacy of friendship and giving to others. Al & Cathy Brischuk.

We were saddened to hear of Norm's passing. We will always remember the many hours he spent organizing, coaching and celebrating many fastball events for the Comets. He was very dedicated and efficient in his many years at the Co-op. We also remember his love and pride in his children through many stories and pictures he shared. Our Deepest Sympathy to Norm's children and all his family. Rest in Peace, Norm! Gary and Lorraine Oleksyn

Oh my old friend! The bantering we did and the abuse we handed out to each other. The hockey drafts you somehow managed to pull out and the laughs we enjoyed each day over coffee. I learned so much from Norm, his patience, helping so many of us over the years learn and draw from his wisdom and knowledge. You were a character, and had tremendous character, and a friend who was loyal. Thanks for all you did for me. Expect I'll hear a Yelp from above when the Leafs finally do win that next cup. Love to your son and daughter and families. Dad was sure proud of you guys. Take care. John and Sandra Stilborn
