Please send my condolences to the Family of Norm Kammer. I went to school with him & also played on the School Basketball team with him. Most times I was center & Norm left or right wing. It amazed me, tho being shorter than the rest, he could go thru the opposition line with out being touched &score. He was faster & sneakier than the rest of us. Especially when we played the Iowa Colored Ghosts. I knew I could count on him to carry the ball. I tried to see him a few years ago when my wife &I travelled thru Melville but he was not around but me his wife. I called him a few weeks ago just to checkup on him, and tell him he was not forgotten , we had a great time sharing memories. We had some great times travelling to different towns & playing BB.
