Obituary of John Bukoros

The family of John Bukoros of Yorkton, beloved husband of the Late Sophie Bukoros sadly announce his passing on Friday, December 11, 2020 at the age of 95 years. There is a family memorial service being planned for a later date. John Bukoros of Yorkton, passed away peacefully at the age of 95 years. John was born in the Calder District June 29, 1925 to George & Katherine (nee Shewchuk) Bukoros. At a young age John and his parents moved to Yorkton where he got his education. In 1945 John joined the Army, after being discharged he returned to Yorkton and was employed at the City Dairy. After leaving the Dairy he worked at Franko's Esso Service and later Canadian Tire. In 1973 John married Sophie Neriuoka. Their holidays were filled with travelling and camping. John was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for many years. John was predeceased by his father George in 1955, his mother Katherine in 1970, his wife Sophie in 2015, stepson Steve in 2014. He is survived by his step children, step grandchildren and great step grandchildren. A private service will be held at a later date. Rest In Peace Dad Service Details.
