To Jean's family, Jean was a wonderful lady! Her and my Mom would talk for hours on the phone about their families and cooking. For our wedding, Jean cross-stitched us a Lord's Prayer, which I will always treasure. May she Rest In Peace.

Dear Family Members of Jean. A fond memory I have of Jean is her creativity and craftsmanship. I fondly remember her beautiful cross stitch pieces and the very colourful interesting "puff" pillows that she made. Such beautiful work. When I graduated from high school Jean and family gave me a cross-stitched "The Lord's Prayer". It hangs in an entry way wall to the basement of a church in Porcupine Plain SK where many people can enjoy it when they attend church meals and meetings or community suppers. Jean's beautiful art work will always be appreciated by many. Rest in Peace dear Jean. Deep hugs and much love to family members. Barbara Thompson Baxter

She was a wonderful woman with the most generous heart. How many women do you know that cared for both her own mother and her mother in law at the same time in her own house. And also so welcoming every time I visited. Condolences to all her family. Your loss is great but Jean is being cared for by the Lord

To all the Rusnak clan: Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of a beautiful lady, a wonderful mother and grandmother. Jean was so loved & so helpful to my Mom & Dad (David & Margaret Hooge) when they were alive. Her Ukrainian cooking skills were second to none & sometimes would cause a weird face on my Dad because he didn't always trust her (she pulled a few pranks on him, but he loved every minute of it). And any time I flew home to visit, I always came back home with a bag full of perogies. Oh they were so good! May you rest in peace Jean!
