Sandra May Bailas ( Weiszhaar) passed away at age 72 on November 1, 2024 in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Sandra was born April 14, 1952 in Edmonton, Alberta to Emil and Helen Weiszhaar. They moved to Invermay then Margo - where she met her husband, Joseph, and were married July 25, 1970. They had four children, Heather, Michael, Amy and Jennifer.

After several moves and different jobs, the family settled in Dunleath, Saskatchewan. She cooked for many years and ended her career at Yorkton Regional Health Center. She took early retirement so she could enjoy her time out at Lake of the Prairies, which was her “happy place.” After selling their lake property, she was content to putter in the garden, plant many beautiful flowers and sit on the deck enjoying the sun. She loved visiting family and friends and enjoyed cooking and baking for them. Everyone loved her buns.

Sandra was predeceased by her parents Emil and Helen Weiszhaar and her brother Donald Weiszhaar.  She is survived by her husband, Joseph Bailas, daughter Heather (Michael, children-Kayleigh and Jayden) Levasseur, her son Michael (daughter Paige) Bailas, her daughter Amy (Shane) Lester and daughter Jennifer (Riley - children Damon and Meghan) Bailas.
