Obituary of Angie Holowatuk
The Family of Angeline "Angie" Jane Holowatuk of Regina sadly announce her passing on Thursday, September 19, 2024. Angie was 79 years of age.
A Memorial Service will be held in the spring of 2025.
Memorials in memory of Angie may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (1200-2300 YONGE STREET BOX 2414 - TORONTO, ON M4P1E4) or Canadian Diabetes Assoc. (200-235 Yorkland Blvd., Toronto, ON M2J 4Y8) as gifts of remembrance.
Angeline “Angie” Jane Holowatuk was born on November 5, 1944 in Yorkton, a daughter to William “Bill” and Anne(nee Kyba) Holowatuk.
Angie grew up in Rhein until the family moved to Yorkton. After high school she moved to Regina. For many years Angie worked at Pioneer Village Nursing Home.
Angie loved reading. She was very good at crossword puzzles. She enjoyed playing cards and board games with her sisters. Angie was an avid Sask Roughriders fan. She enjoyed nature and loved all animals. Angie especially loved her collection of stuffed bears.
Angie was predeceased by her parents, William and Anne, brother Billy in infancy and her sister Diane LaVeay in Nov 2023.
She is survived by her brother Matt and companion Marlene, sister Sylvia Pyne, brother Russ and wife Bev, sister Zoria, sister Marie and husband Frank Howie, sister Anne and husband John Thiesen as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Angie was a very special person. Very kind and caring. She loved her family. Angie will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
