Obituary of Marty Pawliw
The Family of Fredrick Martin "Marty" Pawliw of Theodore & formerly of Springside sadly annouce his passing on September 21, 2024. Marty was 73 years of age.
Prayers will be held on Sunday, September 29 at 6:00p.m. from Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre.
The Funeral Service will take place on Monday, September 30 at 10:30a.m. from Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Crystal Bailey officiating.

The Interment will follow in the Garden of Gethsemane, Yorkton, Memorial Gardens.
Memorials in memory of Marty pawliw may be made to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan (200-4545 Parliament Ave., Regina, SK S4W 0G3) as gifts of remembrance.
Fredrick Martin Pawliw, better known as Marty was born to parents Mike and Dora (Magus) Pawliw on Feb. 02, 1951. Marty grew up on the family farm and attended elementary school at Springside, high school at Yorkton Regional, electronics schooling in Edmonton.
Marty learnt to drywall with his brother-in-law, Wally Andronowich and ended up making a career of it for 47 years, drywalling churches, schools, hospitals, businesses and private homes in 4 provinces, B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Marty also grain and cattle farmed with his parents and brother John, for 40 years.
Marty loved going to many an auction sale, fall suppers, socializing and dancing where he met his companion Vicki Crozier of 11 years.
Marty had a soft spot for children, especially those who had medical issues, loved animals including a favorite dog named Blackie, gardening and loved his Toyota trucks. Marty loved spending time with his nephew Curtis Pawliw and all the phone chats at all hours of the night when Curtis was on the road, and then spending time with Curtis’s children Zoey and Zander. Marty also spent a lot of “quality time” with his cousin Jerrold Malinowski. Marty was also known to take the shirt off his back to help a friend in need.
Marty is predeceased by his parents Mike and Dora Pawliw, brother-in-law Morris Borysko, sister-in-law Lois Pawliw and nephew Tony Borysko.
Marty is survived by his companion of 11 years Vicki Crozier, his sister Iris (Wally) Andronowich, and children Richard (Nicole) Daniel and David and Patty (Chris) and Hayley, his sister Phyllis Borysko and son David, and his brother John and children Pam (Michael), Jenna (Jon) and Curtis (Becky) and Zander and Zoey. Also his Aunt Ella (Pawliw) and Uncle Ted Dusyk and many cousins and friends.
