Paul Houle

Obituary of Paul Houle

Paul Victor Houle, born to Wilfrid and Albee Houle on June 14, 1956, in Coronach, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2024, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.  Known affectionately and jokingly by his friends and family as "Vicious”, Vic was a hard-working dairy farmer and power engineer whose jovial spirit and mischievous nature brought joy to everyone who knew him.

A true lover of life, Vic had a passion for golf, muscle cars and an unwavering dedication to 70s rock music.  He enjoyed nothing more than kicking back with a cold beer while watching Star Trek or cheering on the Riders.

Vic leaves behind three beloved children: sons Eric and Jeremy, along with daughter Dianna.  Eric and his wife Jenna share two children: Madison and Kaycee, while Jeremy and his wife Jenna have three Children: Hadley, Paige, and Aida.  He is also survived by his siblings Richard, Arthur, and Anna Marie and predeceased by his brother Theodore.

Vic was not only a devoted family man but also a dependable neighbour and friend, always ready to lend a hand or offer sound advice.  Famous for saying "smoke 'em if you got 'em" reflects his light-hearted approach to life, and his legacy of kindness and hard work will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

His son Eric will be hosting a Celebration of Vic’s Life on August 24, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. for friends and family to gather to share stories, laughter, and memories of the remarkable man he was.  He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all.
