Obituary of Sherrin Johnson
Sherri Johnson, 63, of Regina died unexpectedly on July from complications of her diabetes. Sherri’s loss was completely unexpected and we are shocked and deeply saddened. Sherri was born on October 19,1960 to Kenneth and Arlie Johnson in St. Boniface, Manitoba. Sherri attended Naperville North High School in Naperville, Illinois and was passionate about caring for others. After graduating high school, Sherri moved back to Saskatchewan with her parents and oldest brother Chuck. Sherri worked as a nurse (LPN) at the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region for over 20 years and was noted for comforting patients’ loved ones through hard times.
Sherri also spent time doing many of her handicrafts, including sewing, crocheting, knitting as well as many others. There was very little in the way of crafts that she couldn’t turn her hand to. In addition to her crafts Sherri loved flowers and gardening as well as animals but especially dogs and horses.
Anyone who knew Sherri, knew she had a big heart, was always there if you needed her.
Sherri was predeceased by her father Ken, Brother Charles (Chuck), and Mother Arlie. Sherri is survived by her brother Scott, Son Anthony, her nieces Rebecca (Brad)and their sons Kenneth and Jonathon, Carissa and her children Olivia, Charlise, and Rylan, her nephew Charlie (Janel) and their children Kenzi and Jaxson.
Sherri’s family and friends will miss Sherri more than words can say.
Arrangments have been entrusted to Bailey's Funeral Home and Cremation Care, Yorkton.
