Dear Heather and all the Giroux family,
We were very sorry to hear the sad news about Mike passing away. We have thought about you a lot these past few weeks and our deepest sympathy goes out to you all. Our time of knowing you and your family was through the Speed Swim Club which involved a great group of people. I recall when you hosted a swim club event/year end windup in your pool.
You girls did an awesome tribute to your dad and he would have been very proud of you all!!

Heather and family we send our sincere sympathy. We always appreciated a visit with Mike as he greeted us with his unforgettable smile and always positive attitude. He truly was such a genuine sincere gentle man. Heather and Girls.
I won’t be able to make it to the funeral for family reasons. Our condolences from my family to yours. My years of knowing Mike were all SaskPower related. Before Yorkton I knew him through our yearly SaskPower sports tournaments. Playing against him was always a pleasure as he was the pure (natural) athlete. Working with Mike was also rewarding as Mike exemplified the greatest customer relations with his SaskPower customers. Mike had always attributed to a high work standard. We have been blessed to be neighbours of Mike and Heathers for over 14yrs and feel like a member of our family is gone too. If there is a couple to look up to in every way Mike and Heather were it❤️
They both brought us so many happy memories over the yrs especially with his pool he so meticulously took such good care of! As the boys were growing up Mike took the time to attend the boys sporting events over the years even attending Dru’s hockey game this last winter when he was sick. I can’t list all the things Mike has helped us out with over the yrs but hope he knew how much he was appreciated and loved by us. Ours hearts are broken for u Heather and your family he loved and cherished so much! xoxo

Heather, Ashley, Brett and Kacey,
So sorry for your loss. We were so lucky to have met the Giroux family and to have spent so much time together during our 8 years in Yorkton.
Mike was such a committed husband, father and friend. Our time together cheering on the girls during swim meets or coaching them in softball are still some of our greatest memories.
Mike was a beautiful man and will be missed by all who were blessed to have known him.

Heather and family we are so sorry for your loss.
It was a pleasure to have known Mike. He was hard working and kind. We cut down more than a few extra trees because a little old lady lived there and she wanted them gone and he just had to oblige her. He beat me regularly at whatever sport we played but always offered lots of encouragement and support. His cheerful attitude and kind attentive concern for others was a special gift. He loved his family and held them in the highest regard. He was the kind of man you want young men to look up to and say I want to be like that.
