(nee Mayer - formerly Woloschuk)
1929 - 2024

Bertha, fourth born to Anton and Mary (nee Kosloski) Mayer in the Grayson district.

Pre-deceased by her parents, brothers Albert, Bill and Wilfred (Evelyn - deceased), and sisters Freda Lowenberg and Irene Davis.

Surviving siblings are her brothers Ed (Elsie), Kasper (Marie); Jerry (Diane - deceased) and sister-in-law, Rosallie Woloschuk.

Bertha, first married John Woloschuk of the Brewer district. The couple had two children, Ron (Sharon Wozniak) and Jane (Ron Perepeluk).

John passed away in 1974. Bertha married Dan Switzer, who passed in 2006.

Survived by her children and their families. 

Son - Ron (Sharon); grandson Curtis (Katherine Siddle); granddaughter Cara (Robert Dadd) and great grandson, Noah Dadd.

Daughter - Jane (Ron); grandson Trent, great grandchildren Paige and Cameron; granddaughter, Tanya (Caleb Taylor), great granddaughters, Natasha and Lyla.

Bertha’s family are thankful for her long life and thank the many families and friends that shared her journey. A special thank you to the staff at Preeceville Long Term Care.

Memorials in memory of Mrs. Bertha Switzer may be made to St. Henry's Parish Cemetery Fund, Mass Offerings, Church Memorial Fund (St. Henry's Roman Catholic Church, Box 100, Melville, S0A 2P0), St. Paul Lutheran Home (Box 1390. Melville, SK, S0A 2P0) or St. Peter's Hospital (Box 1810. Melville, SK, S0A 2P0) as gifts of remembrance.
