Extending our heartfelt condolences to Louise, Sheldon, Kristie, Kelsey, Brady and Jessie.
Gerry was a part of so many great memories. We will always remember his laugh and his good natured joking attitude. I think it made his day if he could keep one guessing! I always had to ask, is that for real or is that a story? We have great memories of when Gerry and Louise were still on the farm and Terry and I and Gerry and Louise would play hockey on a frozen slough with a grain shovel for a goalie stick! We may not have been very professional but we sure had fun. Also when we would have an impromptu sing along while strumming on a guitar that nobody knew how to play. Brandon and Cheyenne had a favourite name for Gerry that stuck even into their adulthood, “the candy man”, because as kids he always had a candy for them in his pocket.
I once heard that when someone special passes away they go to the heavens to shine as a star. So now, there is one more bright beautiful star shining down!
