Obituary of Delanie Klyne
The family of Delanie Klyne of Saskatoon and formerly of Yorkton, beloved daughter of Kelly and Kelly Ann Klyne and Greg and Jennifer Paul, sadly announce her passing on December 29, 2023. Delanie was 23 years of age.
Delanie Rashida Mariah Mercedes Klyne was born on October 16, 2000 at Yorkton, SK., daughter of Jennifer Paul and Kelly Joe Klyne.
Delanie was raised in Yorkton and later moved to Saskatoon where she was currently attending Gabriel Dumont Institute. She was a loving, caring person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Delanie was predeceased by her grandfather’s Frank Klyne and Dwayne Klemm (Papa), great grandparents John Swain and Lillian Swain (nee Lavallee). She is survived by her parents Jennifer Paul (Greg) and Kelly Joe Klyne (Kelly Ann), sisters; Kelsea Keshane (Mike Jr.), Katrina Klyne (Seth) and Alyssa Klyne, her brother Skylar Klyne, step brother Tyler Paul, aunties; Ashley Swain (Farley), Marsha Paul, Deanna Langan and Rachel Klyne (George), uncles; Stewart Swain, Frank Klyne (Rene) and Scott Klyne, nieces Mya and Ava (Katrina’s daughters), nephews; Sylas, Creedance and baby Micheal (Kelsea’s sons), her cousins; Shanelle, Tranese and Dakota (Ashleys children), grandmother’s Ruth Ann Klyne and Myrna Klemm and her grandfather Lindsey Whitehawk as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Delanie was known for her sense of humor and her wonderful, thoughtful heart. Our memories together will be forever cherished.
A Service of Comfort was held on Sunday, January 7, 2024 and the Funeral Service was held on Monday, January 8, 2024, both from Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Shelly Morris, Celebrant officiating. Special words were given by Delanie's sister Kelsea Keshane. The interment followed in the Garden of Tranquility, Yorkton Memorial Gardens with Kelly Klyne, Frank Klyne, George McKay, Sidney Swain, Stewart Swain and Ed Wintonyk (Bear) serving as casket bearers.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association Saskatoon (1301 Avenue P North, Saskatoon Sk, S7L 2X1) as gifts of remembrance.
