Obituary of Ashley O'Hare
The family of Ashley O'Hare of Theodore, beloved husband of Denise O'Hare sadly announce his sudden passing on November 12, 2023. Ashley was 51 years of age.
In 1990, Ashley graduated Grade 12 from Sturgis Composite High School.
Ashley worked many different jobs around the area. His ambition and entrepreneurial spirit led him to owning his own business, A and K Eavestroughing. This carried him all over southern Saskatchewan.
On September 2, 2017, Ashley married the love of his life Denise. They enjoyed many different things together. Record parties, quadding, concerts and many road trips to visit family and friends, just to name a few.
Ashley loved stopping in to see friends and his door was always open with a story to tell. He had a contagious laugh that will live on forever, a spirit that is all around us, and a legend of a friend to many.
Ashley is survived by his wife Denise O’Hare, his parents Wally and Bernadette, his brother Brad, his sisters Evelynn (Doug) Perry and Melody O’Hare (Shawn), plus numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
A visitation for family and friends was held on Friday, November 17, 2023 from the Chapel of Bailey’s Funeral Home, Yorkton. The Funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Canora, Saskatchewan with Rev. Fr. Joseph Kuruvilla as Celebrant. The cross bearer was Asher Flom. Alyssa Lynne delivered the eulogy. The scripture readers were Evelynn, Melody and Justine. Accompanist Lori Betge led the congregation in the hymns. The honorary casket bearers were all of Ashley’s close friends and family that celebrate his life. The interment followed in the Canora Town Cemetery with Dennis Preston, Shawn Flom, Doug Perry, Kris Liebrecht, Trevor Woychesko and Calvin Cundy serving as casket bearers.
Memorials donations may be made to the Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation as gifts of remembrance.
