I just recently learned of Sophie's passing. She was such a pleasure to know and care for at St.Volodymyr Terrace. She always wore the sweetest pixie smile and was game for any activity at the home...just walking to the dining room gave her pleasure. May peace find your family with warm memories of sweet Sophie bring you solace in your sadness. Sincerely Mona Lanfermann (past employee at St.Volodymyr) .

My mother Jennie would tell me stories of her and her sister Sophie living on the farm in Saskatchewan. They would ride horses and would play tricks on their older brother Joe who always took it with a kind heart. My mother and Aunt Sophie took after their mother Anna with their love of flowers. That love was passed down to both the daughters me Linda and Rita. I was told that when my mom and I visited the family when the children were little, Glen,Garry and I threw a bunch of items down the “toilet” which was the outhouse at that time. Not fun for the parents but joyful for the kids. I will miss you very much Aunt Sophie. You are with all your family now. God Bless Linda
