Dear Joy and girls I am so saddened to hear of Bobs passing.
We worked together for Carlton Trail and have many memories of his enthusiasm for life, commitment to students, his smile and jokes.
I was just asking another Wynyard retired staff if they knew if Bob and Joy were coming to the College 50th anniversary event in Humbolt tonight
. I so hopped to see you folks
My heart felt sympath, thoughts and prayers are with you

We will never forget our friend Bob. We met in Arizona becoming friends and he was a great card playing buddy for Adelard. His favourite expression when in deep conversation was: it’s between me and the man upstairs. I’m sure he’s having great conversations with the man upstairs. We will always remember Bob with the catchy smile on his face and his vibrant “HELLO”. Rest in peace our dear friend. Adelard and Rosemarie

Dear Joy, Our sincerest sympathy to you and your family on the loss of Bob. His Irish wit, charm, and generous nature were memorable. He was "one of life's unforgettable characters", worthy of his own biography in the Reader's Digest. (Someone should write it!) I was there the night that you met Bob, and up until that point in my life, I had never witnessed love at first sight... But I did then. You were smitten and so was he. With his Robert Redford good looks, and infectious laugh, and personality, he was irresistible. He will not be forgotten because his charming traits have been passed on to his offspring. Please accept our condolences. Hugs to you and your family. Kathy and Bob Gillis
