I can remember as a young kid going over to the Andreychuk’s house in Flin Flon to play with Lennie and Donnie prior to Tyrone’s birth and completely covering every square inch of the downstairs floor with their most awesome toys! Despite this happening on a frequent basis, Pearl was always so happy that we were kids simply playing together, having fun, and enjoying each other’s company never once grumbling about the huge mess requiring clean up every time that we repeatedly left behind. For a time back then the Andrychuks and the Kensick’s et all, seemed to be joined at the hip…a golden era when neighbours really cared about one another, enjoyed many great times together, and were almost like extended family…it really was the greatest of times! Pearl was always a loving model of calmness, dignity and grace…so aptly named ‘Pearl’ as she truly was a ‘gem’!
Her kindness, loving demeanour, and humanity still remains fondly with me to this day…she truly was a wonderful person.
To Len, Don, and Tyrone and families we offer our deepest and sincerest and most heartfelt condolences…but also celebrate in a life well lived…and for the tiny special little piece of it that still lives inside our hearts…forever..
