My sincere condolences to Dave’s family on his passing. I enjoyed visiting with your dad wherever we meet, where at the rink in Kelliher or at Jim Miekles. We would discuss hockey, farming or whatever. Your dad was a true gentleman and I know he will be missed by all.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of David Thompson. We have many happy memories of him visiting the Dental Office in Fort Qu’Appelle. He always had a smile on his face and a story to share. He will be missed by his family and many friends.

Remembering a friend through the decades: a kind 4-H Judge who related so well to youth, and in more recent years, a conversationalist who always had time for a long chat at the Abernethy Fair or CO-OP at Fort Qu’Appelle. Dave was so proud of Carole and their family, and his Grade 12 Diploma! I am grateful for his monthly visits for years to my Mom Isabel at the Balcarres Integrated Care Centre. We will all miss you Dave, and your legacy to family, friends, and community is profound. Condolences to all who will knew you.

Carole, Chris, Heather, Duane, Kate and family,
Dave was a special man who raised a beautiful family with Carole and he was an amazing neighbour to many. We all have fond memories of being part of the Kelliher community that Dave had such an integral part of fostering. He was a leader, a coach and a dear friend! We will never forget his caring nature, his humour and his genuine character.
Dave and Dave were good friends and kept in touch over the years. Our Dave would light up when your Dave would call to check in and they could reminisce about their farming days.
Corinne’s best memory is from ‘89 when Dave got such a kick out of getting his face painted for the Grey Cup game hosted by Arly and Rosemary. He’d mention often the fun that was had, and with that laugh of his!
There are many more memories we hold close and will cherish them all. We hope the same for you and want you all to know we’re thinking of you and send our love.
