So Sad to hear of Nelson’s passing. I visited Nelson in the Shaunavon hospital in July & we had such a good visit reminiscing. My late husband Ernie worked at Honey Bee & enjoyed Nelson’s friendship over the years. My sincere condolences to the family - Nelson will be missed.

Nelson and I got to be good buds when we both worked at HoneyBee. He loved to leave cartoons or silly pictures at the front desk where I worked so I would find them many mornings when I got to work. He knew I hated mice so even found a felt mouse hanging over my computer screen one morning. I remember him bringing a photo album once for me to see. Photos of his mom and her sister. He was so proud of those photos. He was a special guy!!! I still have one of his cartoons on my fridge!

Nelson was an incredible artist… I will never forget the mural he did of an old Victorian street from the 1800’s for our Christmas decorations at the credit union in Frontier. He was kind, generous, and always ready to visit… may the heavens be filled with his art.
