So sorry to hear of Ron's passing. Ron & I both started with the U/G at K1 in Sept of '62. We tended to have the same sense of humour and had some great laughs together (and at each other's expense). His work ethic was superb so he got away with many tricks and jokes that others may not have. Had a great imagination for nicknames that would likely be called harassment now. Rest easy, and thanks for the time we spent.

Ron, G'pa Ron, we will miss you! Limited filter, man of his words, super work ethic, heart of gold.
Husband to the lovely Bunny, soul mates, Dad of 3 boys, coach of many, ball and hockey, crew for the building of rink and ball fields in Churchbridge, minor sports exec, town council rep and then repeat with the grand daughters, same support, almost "kicked" out of ball games...ha. Golfer, golf critic, loved the game, Hugh at his side. Ron, you made a difference, You were who you were and for us, that knew you, it was enough, more than we expected.
Your grouch was your warmth, the more you gave it, the more the love. Thanks for it all, especially the love and support of Jordana and Justine. ❤️
Maui was the best for all of us! Make heaven livelier!
Bunny is by your side.❤️
Signed, the "Kid"...Gayle
