Always enjoyed a conversation with Raymond, either as a kid when he visited our family farm at Rokeby or in later years when we crossed paths. Just a great sense of humour and knowledgeable individual. He showed great compassion for people and was indeed a character. I particularly enjoyed hearing of his worldly travels. Raymond was a strong and a kind person. He was great spouse he loved Avis with all his heart. Wonderful father Had many friends would help those in need. He spoke on what he believed.
