When I think of Anne I think of a strong, giving and religious woman, aways thinking of others and providing heartfelt gifts, from new tea-towels for the kitchen to pictures for my nightstand.
I have many wonderful memories of Anne… from visiting the Nick and Anne’s farm to going to her place on Collacott Dr. for Easter breakfast, or picking up Anne to take her to my Mom’s for Xmas dinners, just to name a few. After Anne moved to the nursing home, Mom and I would often go visit Anne when I was in town. Anne had an amazing memory and knew exactly the last time I had been there, even if I couldn’t recall. Anne was always interested in what my husband and I had been doing since we had last visited. She was our family historian, always willing to share her memories during conversations. We would have great and interesting visits, talking about current events, with a hint of historical facts and sometimes nostalgia added in.
I know Nick, Elsie, Auntie Gloria and Baba and others I am sure, welcomed you home the day you passed. I can just imagine the homecoming celebration. God gained another Angel that day.

I can not believe this beautiful lady made 102 trips around the sun. She was like another grandmother to me when I was a little girl, always kind and loving and treated me like family.
She made the best Ukrainian food as well. Even though I left Yorkton many years ago I still enjoyed visiting her with my children whenever I went back. She never forgot anything we talked about. She was one of a kind and she will be greatly missed by all of us. RiP Annie We love you.

We came to know Nick and Anne when we lived on Collacott Drive over 45 years ago. Her and Nick lived 2 houses over and they became family to us. I would have coffee with her I’m sure every afternoon, every occasion was celebrated with her and Nick, and if I ever needed anything, Anne was always there.
Even though we moved away 20 years ago, we never lost contact. It was either visits when we came back to Yorkton, phone calls with chats about current events and even FaceTime (with the nurses help) when she was in the home.
You will be missed very much Anne
Love Susan and Dennis

Anne was my bonus grandma. The time I spent at their house on Collacott Drive playing Uno while Anne gave Nick and I fig newtons and iced tea, playing hide and seek, and “helping” her in the garden are some of the best memories I have of my childhood. And she would make the best Ukrainian Christmas meal with the smallest cabbage rolls known to man.
After moving away I would still talk to Anne on the phone, and she always knew the world news and what was going on. She would remember so many things from years past for us to reminisce and chat about.
When hanging up, I would always say “ I love you Anne”. Her response, never failing, was “I will never forget you”.
Well Anne, I will never forget you either.
Love Tanya

Nick and Anne were our neighbours at the farm, a mile away and I remember their well kept, organized yard. They were a lovely couple in our neighbourhood.
May her memory be eternal. Vichnaya Pam’iat.

Have the memories with my parents visiting Anne and Nick, they were friendly, happy and good hearted. Anne would spot me in the store years later, would engage in conversation about how are you and your family. Very heart warming person
