Obituary
Obituary of Charles William Wallace
Charles William Wallace was born on January 30, 1945 in the Kelliher district of Saskatchewan; a son of Olivia (nee Erikson) and Sam Wallace. He was raised on the family farm and attended the New Haven School. Billy, as he was known to all, had an ambition to become a sailor, but that never materialized. He travelled a great deal and over his lifetime had been to thirteen countries, including Europe, the British Isles, Australia, and Japan. While on a trip to the Philippians, Billy met and married a women from that country. The couple returned to Canada but it was too difficult an adjustment and she soon returned home. After that time Billy lived his life in Kelliher. He was a quiet, unassuming individual who kept very much to himself, he was also a likeable character who caused no trouble to anyone. When I am dead Cry for me a little Think of me sometimes But not too much. Think of me now and again As I was in life At some moments it's pleasant to recall But not too long. Leave me in peace And I shall leave you in peace And while you live Let your thoughts be with the living.
