KELLER - Faye "Fannie" Keller was born on January 20, 1936 at Hyas, Saskatchewan, the youngest of four daughters born to Jack and Polly Chursinoff. On August 9, 1953, Faye was united in marriage to John W. Keller at Canora, Saskatchewan. Faye moved to Kamsack and Canora prior to moving to Melville in 1966. She worked at St. Peter's Hospital in the dietary department. Faye became a specialist in the art of "Grandma" in 1980 as can be confirmed by all who knew her. Faye is remembered for her ability to endure when faced with adversity, nurture without reservation, and praise without qualification. Faye's grandchildren were her greatest treasures; these young women have been one of her most enduring sources of joy, pride and unconditional love. Faye entered her eternal rest suddenly on Monday, May 31, 2010 at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 74 years. Wife, Grandma, Mother and friend, Faye will be missed, but the memory of her special ways and kindness will always be kept close by those she touched. Keller, daughters Louise (Scott Steele), Bonnie (Terry Sherban) and her grandchildren, Aryn Steele (Chris Mitchell), Lauren Steele (James Cooper), Whitney Sherban and Alicia Sherban.
