Obituary of Guy Ruston
Guy Arnold Ruston was born on November 27, 1957 in Newmarket, Ontario, the son of Roy Ruston and Marilyn Thompson, also Edward Thompson predeceased in 2006. Guy lived in Toronto as a young boy, then moved to Aurora, Ontario were he had various jobs such as Taxi Driver, Bouncer, hauled beef until he became a professional Truck Driver for thirty-five years maintaining a clean driving record up until his passing. Guy passed away peacefully at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre on Thursday, May 12, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory his beloved wife Tammy; sons, Bradley and Matthew; daughter Wendy and son-in-law Wayne; grandchildren Bailey and Brooklyn; his mother Marilyn; very dear cousins, Linda and Al Barraclough, dear friends, Tom and Dot Oliver, as well as numerous aunt, uncles, cousins and many more dear friends. A Celebration of Life Service was held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 2:00p.m. in the Sterling Room of the Town of Saltcoats Building. Musical selections were Dock of the Bay by Otis Redding, Cold Shoulder by Garth Brooks, Hero by Mariah Carey andAmazing Grace by Susan Boyle.
