Obituary of Mildred Maud Pickering

Pickering - Mildred Maud Pickering (nee Ferguson) of Yorkton, passed away at the Canora Gateway Lodge on Sunday, September 11, 2011. She was 98 years of age. Mildred was born on October 31, 1912 to Emma (nee Morley) and James Ferguson in Stenen, SK. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Gordon in 1982, her husband William (Bill) in 1996, her son-in-law Stan Zielinski in 2004, her grandson Stanley Zielinski Jr. in 2008. Mildred is survived by two daughters: Sharon Zielinski of Yorkton, and Patricia Yanish of Dysart, SK. Grandchildren: Darcy (Tammy) Zielinski and their children, Ashley, Keshia, Chantal and Keely-Che, of Canora, SK; Blake (Sandy) Zielinski and their children, Nicole, Brittani, Sean and Meghan of Mikado; Lea-Anne (Kevin) Sunduk and their children, Colten, Courtney, Cassidy and Caydance of Macklin, SK; Marla Zielinski and her children Savannah and Gavin of Kamsack; Stacey Zielinski and her children, Brooke-Lynn, Alexandra, Kaylee and Blake Bolton of Martensville, SK; and one great great grandson Brandyn. Also many friends in Yorkton, and her very special friend, Colette Scott of Yorkton.
