THOMPSON - Alvin Thompson beloved husband of Amber Gordon of Yorkton passed away July 24, 2012. He was thirty three years of age. Alvin leaves to cherish his memory, mother Gail Thompson, wife Amber, children Serena, Kainen, Alijah, Alvin, Aiden, Shyrah Thompson, Elijah & Rayanna Breast. His brothers and sisters, Woodrow, Barney, Raylene, Nellie, Agnes, William, Nathan, Donelda, Dallon, Eldeen, Ronette & Rechelle,as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his father Alvin Saulteaux and niece Ashley Kuffner. Alvin will always be remembered for his fun loving nature and his comical smiles. He was always a good listener and comforter for others. A real gentle giant and a big "teddybear" for all those who loved him. He will be remembered as wonderful husband, father son and brother. Wakes were held on Thursday, July 26, 2012 from the Yorkton Friendship Centre and on Friday, July 27, 2012 at Carry The Kettle First Nation. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 from Carry The Kettle First Nation Band Hall. Honourary Bearers were Raymond Jordon Sr., Edmund Jordon, Lester Adams, Errol Hotomanie, Jason Adams, Tyler Ashdohonk and Kevin Gambler. Interment followed in the South Cemetery at Carry The Kettle First Nation with Bronson Gordon, Sam Buffalo, Farron Ashdohonk, Jessie Ashdohonk, Mitchell Keshane and Sinclair Dubois serving as the casketbearers.
