Just heard of Lorne's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Lorne on the Catholic School Board for 8 years. He was a dedicated and committed person to the Catholic education system and to his faith. We extend our thoughts and prayers to his family and we are very thankful to have had an association with him. He made a very positive impact in his Church and in his community.

I was saddened to hear the death of Lorne... It seems I have known him all my life, ever since My family met him in Punnichy in the early 60 s when he was working there building a school and he came in for his meals and always ordered a glass of buttermilk with his meal...we couldn't understand how he could drink that stuff and then he always had a cheerful greeting when we were there in yorkton for many family funerals.
