Obituary of Jacqueline Jean Hall
The family of Jaqueline Jean Hall of Yorkton, beloved daughter of James & Audrey Hall, sadly announce her passing on Monday, April 18, 2022. She was 59 years of age.
A Family Service is being planned for the summer of 2022.
Jacqueline Jean Hall (Jackie, or J to her family) passed away April 18, just short of her 60th birthday. She was born May 2 to Audrey and James Hall. Her brothers Mitchell and Kevin came along and completed the family. She often spoke of her early years in Yorkton, and then moving to Margo. School was easy for her; she enjoyed attending the University of Saskatchewan and received a Bachelors of Arts.
Jackie found her calling as education coordinator for the Western Development Museum in Moose Jaw. Years flew by in a flash. It was the great mix of Saskatchewan history, coordinating events and people that made her shine.
Jackie's passion for learning was evident in her extensive bookshelves – politics, history, religions of the world, science fiction and fantasy, poetry, cooking and so much more. She loved a good conversation on any topic. She especially loved to discuss (some might say argue) points of history and politics.
Jackie loved animals of all kinds, but it was cats that she was especially drawn too. Her beloved Isis and Misha were waiting for her. She loved having Cinder with her but was also glad he could be with his mom again.
Jackie's parents, her brother Kevin and his children (Michael, Jessica and Alex), sister-in-law Kim Hall (daughter Lauren), her many cousins especially Karen Eckhart (Todd Manley) and Allan Eckhart (Michelle and daughters Madeline and Maren), many aunts and uncles and cherished lifelong friends will miss her ready giggle and willingness to talk. Her grandparents, her brother Mitchell, Aunt Kathy and Uncle Albert Eckhart, and Uncle Bob Hall went before her.
Jackie moved to Yorkton in September 2021, where a second bout of severe health issues began soon after. She was residing at the Theodore Health Centre in Long Term Care at the time of her passing. If you wish, please make a donation to their Recreation program in her memory. Service Details.
