Obituary
Obituary of Alvin Kleebaum
It is with great sadness we mourn the passing of our brother, brother-in-law and uncle, Alvin Kleebaum. Alvin was born on June 24, 1933 at Neudorf, Saskatchewan, a son to Reinhold and Olga (nee Ellerman) Kleebaum. He received his education at the Neudorf School and after school he would work at various jobs. One of his jobs was to clear a quarter of land by axe which he did while attending school. Alvin and his brothers Wilfred and Gilbert went to Ontario and worked at a paper mill then went north and Alvin worked at a lumber camp and mining. Alvin also worked for Kellogg's Pumping Station then for B.A.C.M. Construction as well farmed with his brothers. While farming Alvin and his brothers, Gilbert, Wilfred and David started their own building construction called Kleebaum Brother's Construction. Alvin played a big part in the construction, which they operated until 2007. Alvin enjoyed life, fishing, traveling, reading and making lawn ornaments out of wood. Alvin was a religious man; you would always see him with a big smile and a friendly word. He belonged to the Lutheran Hour and every day his brothers would find him reading his bible. God took Alvin home to his eternal rest suddenly while having breakfast on Monday, February 17, 2014 at the age of 80 years. God took a flower from his Flower Garden to add an extra flower to His bouquet for His Heavenly Kingdom. May God be with Alvin throughout all Eternity. Predeceased by his parents; three brother Herb, Harold and Walter; sisters, Lydia, Alma and Betty; sisters-in-law, Darlene Kleebaum, Wilma Kleebaum and Carol Ann Kleebaum. Alvin leaves to cherish his memory his brothers; Wilfred, Gilbert and David (Marlene) all of Melville; sisters, Hanna Hepperle of Edmonton and Alice Gerhardt of Melville; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
