Obituary of Anne "Elsie" Padar

Anne Elsie Padar was born on April 20, 1924 on a farm south of Lestock, Saskatchewan, a daughter to Peter and Barbara (nee Kelemen) Bacsu. Anne received her education at the Arpad School and helped on the family farm. On November 20, 1945 Anne was united in marriage to Frank Padar at Lestock. The couple resided on Frank's family farm for 5 years then purchased their own farm in the Waldron district of Saskatchewan. In 1977 the couple moved into Melville where Anne was employed at King George as a cook as well as took care of the house hold chores and the family. Anne was involved with the Waldron 4-H club for many years. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, quilting, reading, cooking, baking and most of all being around her grandchildren, great grandchildren and the rest of her family. Anne entered her eternal rest on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospital at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by her parents, her husband Frank, brothers, Alex, Peter, Mike and one brother in infancy; sisters, Mary, Elizabeth, Julia, twin sisters in infancy and Margaret. Anne leaves, to cherish her fond memories, two sons, Stanley (Catherine) of Kamloops, BC and his children, Dean (Krista) Padar and their son Frankie, Rhonda (Roy) deVries and their children Jaylene and Devan; Gordon (Brenda) of Melville, SK and their children, Carla (Jason) Cochran and their son Jagger, Ryan (Rebekka) Padar and their daughter Ryka; one daughter, Dolly (Ron) Papp of Regina, SK; and Dolly's children, Michelle Gould and her children Kordin and Kailey, Sherry (Kevin) Krasiun and son Blake; sister, Helen Bodnar Salmon Arm, BC.
