Obituary of Isabel Rose Roberston
Isabel Rose Robertson (McMain) was born at Wolseley, Sask. March 7, 1928 to parents, Mary and Charles McMain. Isabel married Philip Robertson Nov. 12, 1955. She worked in Regina at Sask. Wheat Pool and in Wolseley at TD Bank for many years. Isabel and Philip enjoyed going to the lake with their boat and camper. They travelled to Hawaii, England and Scotland and also to Holland to celebrate Holland's liberation where Philip fought in the war. Not having any children, their nieces and nephews were important to them and they liked taking them camping, boat riding and snowmobiling. They liked to play cards with family and friends. Isabel was a good cook and baker and liked to invite family and friends for meals and coffee. Isabel and Philip lived in Wolseley until 1988 when they moved to Yorkton. Isabel moved to the Bentley Retirement Home in Yorkton in 2005 and then to the Yorkton Nursing Home in 2008 and then to St. Paul Lutheran Home in Melville where she resided until her passing on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her husband Philip in 1997, brothers Glen and Donald and sister Marguerite Markham. She is survived by sister, Gladys Crull, sisters-in-law, Norma McMain and Phyllis (Bob) Massier and brother-in-law, Wilf Robertson and many nieces and nephews and their families. Service Information
