Hello Alex, I didn't know you but you were a year younger than my baby brother, a young man who has also suffered with bullying and mental illness... When I heard the news about you I cried so much; I couldn't stop thinking about how unfair the world is when angels like you leave so soon. I'm still at a loss for words. I'm sorry that you felt so much pain in your heart that you felt that you had to do what you had to do. I'm sorry society can be so ugly. I know we can never have you back on this earth but I feel like if I could have one conversation with you, I would do my best to help and cheer you up and just be there to listen. I think this is what youth need today; we're always told what to do or how to do it but we are rarely just listened to. This is why I will always fight for the voice of others. I vow to help others struggling with mental illness and bullying as much as I can. I just want to say I'm sorry to your parents and siblings for your passing; words cannot express how much sorrow and heartbreak you all must be going through losing a son, a brother, a friend… No parent should have to bury their child. I am always sending my thoughts and prayers to you all. May you rest in peace. Love, H.
