LOZINSKI - Kim Lozinski, beloved wife of Tim Lozinski of the Willowbrook district, passed away peacefully at the Yorkton Regional Hospital on Thursday, November 20th, 2014 with her family by her side. Kimberly Cynthia Cheryl Lozinski was born in Norquay on February 24th 1964 to George Thiessen and Joyce Rist (Babyck). Kim lived in Hyas to the age of seven, then moved to Yorkton with her Mother and two younger siblings Candy and Kenneth. There Kim, brother Kenneth, sister Candy, and step brother Darcy grew up and were raised by her mother Joyce and stepfather Danny Rist. Kim attended Yorkton Regional High School; during this time she met her husband Tim Lozinski. After dating for a few years, they married on November 21st 1981 and soon after were blessed with two children, Cheryl and Michael. Kim and Tim raised their family in Yorkton until 1990, when they moved to Calgary, Alberta. Kim worked as a purchaser at MCK Telecommunications, then moving on to ARAM Systems Limited where she worked until they decided to make the move back to their hometown Yorkton. There, Kim worked with the Sunrise Health Region as well as at Wagner's Flooring. Kim and Tim made their home on a beautiful acreage 45 minutes west of Yorkton, off of the Fenwood grid. There they enjoyed their three grandchildren, Lillian, Josh, and Jordan. Home was a wonderful place for Kim to enjoy her love of gardening as well her horses and four dogs. Kim also fed the squirrels and had a bird feeder on every tree! Kim touched the lives of everyone she knew and will be sadly missed. Kim is predeceased by her brother Kenneth Thiessen, her stepfather Danny Rist, and her grandparents Mike and Lillian Babyck. Kim leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband Tim, her children, Cheryl (Jeff) and Michael (Yukari), her grandchildren Lillian, Joshua, and Jordan, her mother Joyce (Milo), father George (Marge), sister Candy (James), step brother Darcy (Laurie) as well as her many nieces, nephews, friends, and family members. An evening service with visitation for family and friends was held on Monday, November 24, 2014. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Pastor Darcy Rist of the Rosewood Pentecostal Church in Regina officiating. The organist Vange Shipowick led the congregation in the singing of the hymn ‘Amazing Grace'. Rebecca Sperling read the eulogy and a poem "In Dreams". Tributes and words of remembrance were given by Kim's daughter, Cheryl Lozinski and granddaughter, Lillian Zoltan-Lozinski. Honourary bearers were everyone who was touched by Kim's life. Interment followed in the Family Plot in the Garden of St. Matthew in the Yorkton Memorial Gardens with Kim's children, Michael and Cheryl serving as the urn bearers.
