Obituary of Lillian Bogdan
Lillian Bogdan was born on October 10, 1931 in the Grayson District of Saskatchewan, a daughter to Anton and Josepha (nee Klein) Gelowitz. Lillian received her education at Gelowitz School and helped her parents on the farm. After receiving her education she remained on the farm. Lillian then met her love of her life Fred Bogdan and were married on May 31, 1950 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Grayson. The couple farmed 2 miles south of Grayson where Lillian took an active part in the farming aspect as well looked after their eight Children. If that was not enough she also babysat while on the farm and then in 1977 they moved into Grayson where she continued to baby sit. Fred passed away suddenly and Lillian continued to reside in Grayson until August of 2014 and moved into St. Philomena Manor in Melville. While in Grayson Lillian was an active member of St. Mary's Church and with the Church Ladies committee serving at different hall functions. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, socializing and can't forget her enjoyment of baking and her sweet tooth. Her sense of humor and her big smile would always fill the room with a laugh. Her most enjoyment was spending time with her children and grandchildren when they came to visit.
