Obituary of Victoria "Anita" Delorme

On Sunday, August 9th, 2015 at 3:16am a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother,great-great-grandmother and sister, Anita Delorme from Cowessess First Nation began her Journey to the Spirit World. Anita was predeceased by her husband Victor(Billy)Delorme Sr., her life-long partner Roy(Papa)Delorme, her parents Jeremie Sparvier/Isabella Aisaican, 5 brothers: Lloyd, Ernest, Harvey, Blaine and Dennis, and son-in-law Gerald Desjarlais. She left a fabulous legacy of love with her surviving family - her children Allen(Vera), Victor Jr., Lindon(Laurie), Conrad, Joyce, Gordon, Dwayne(Tanya), Louise(Joe)Bear, Robert(Frances), Tracy(Koj)Leask, and Nelda - her sisters Viola Goodeagle, Terri Ahearn, Myrna Delorme, Donna Agecoutay, Eva Aisaican. Special cousin/friend Myra Delorme and Alma Pelletier, 42 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. A wake will be held on Tuesday, August 11th, 2015 at the Cowessess Hall at 4:00pm with the Funeral Service on Wednesday, August 12th, 2015 at 10:00am with Brig Judy officiating. The family would like to thank the Dr.'s/Nursing Staff of St. Peter's Hospital in Melville, Sk for the excellent care they provided for our dear Mama and the comforting care they provided to our family. Special thanks to the Home Care workers from Melville and Cowessess First Nation for the excellent care they provided to our precious Mama.
