Obituary of Wilfred Ervin Kleebaum
It is with great sadness we mourn the passing of our brother, brother-in-law and uncle, Wilfred Kleebaum. Wilfred was born on December 16, 1925 at Neudorf, Saskatchewan, a son to Reinhold and Olga (nee Ellerman) Kleebaum. Wilfred received his education at the Neudorf School. He then worked for the B&B Gang for the C.P.R. later he worked for a factory in Ontario then at a saw mill in Prince George then move to northern Alberta and hauled pulp to a milling station. Later Wilfred moved to Yellow Knife where he made beams for mines as well worked construction. Wilfred then moved to Melville and farmed with his brothers west of Melville. While farming Wilfed, Gilbert, Alvin and David started their own construction business called Kleebaum Brother's Construction. He was the first one to retire from the construction business, which the rest of the boys operated until 2007. Wilfred enjoyed fishing, traveling, reading the paper and doing puzzles. He had a great faith in God and fellow man. Wilfred entered his eternal rest on Monday, March 13, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Home at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by his parents Reinhold and Olga (nee Ellerman) Kleebaum; brothers, Herb, Harold, Walter, Alvin and Gilbert; sisters, Lydia Bruder, Alma Applin and Betty Burke; sisters-in-law, Darlene Kleebaum, Wilma Kleebaum and Carol Ann Kleebaum. Wilfred leaves to cherish his memory his brother; David (Marlene) all of Melville; sisters, Hanna Hepperle of Edmonton and Alice Gerhardt of Melville; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
