Obituary of Patricia Alvina Korchinski

The family of Patricia Korchinski of Ituna, beloved wife of Eugene Kochinski sadly announce her passing on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Patricia was 77 years of age. A private family service will be held with the interment to follow in the Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery. Memorials in memory of Patricia may be made to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan (200-4545 Parliament Ave.Regina, SK S4W 0G3) or Alzheimers Society of Saskatchewan (301-2550 12th Ave. Regina, SK S4P 3X1) as gifts of remembrance. It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia Korchinski, announce her passing on October 18, 2022, at the age of 77. She was predeceased by her parents, Catherine and Roy Godlien; and her siblings, Chrissy, Jean, Donny, and Geraldine. Patsy is lovingly remembered by her husband Eugene (Bob) Korchinski, daughters Corinne (John) Sopel, Arlene (Bernie) Patron, and Cheryl (Murray) Markham; Grandchildren, Colton Sopel (Reilly) , CaSandra Sopel (Matt) , Alysia (Kevin) Bewcyk, Ashley Patron, Angela Patron (Cody), Bradley Patron (Brianna), Tanner Markham, Troy Markham; Great Grandchildren Sylvie Patron, and Eli and Ava Bewcyk; Siblings Lorne (Heather) Godlien, Arty (Sharon) Godlien, Kenny (Mary Anne) Godlien, Neil (Elaine) Godlien, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Family was very special and important to Pat. She made sure everyone knew how much she loved them. Pat was born July 8, 1945, at Lestock Hospital and attended school in Kelliher. She married the love of her life, Bob Korchinski on July 4, 1964. Together they grain farmed and ran a dairy in the Wyber Tullymet District. Pat was kept busy on the farm milking cows, growing a bountiful garden, and raising her family. She belonged to the Wyber Ladies Club and enjoyed attending the many Wyber dances and events. She always enjoyed a good party and a drink with friends and family. She had a contagious laugh usually followed by a smart remark and a smile. Her grandchildren were all very special to her. She enjoyed all of their visits and all of their pets. Her great-grandchildren lit up the room and held a special place in her heart. At the age of 57, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and from then on dealt with many other health issues. Through her struggles, she always showed true strength and a positive attitude. In the last year when her health began to deteriorate, she entered the Ituna Pioneer Health Care Centre until her passing. Service Details.
