Obituary of Noreen Gladys Feszczyn

FESZCZYN - Mrs. Noreen Feszczyn, beloved wife of Steve of the Kelliher district passed away suddenly, but peacefully on January 11, 2019 at Regina General Hospital. Noreen Feszczyn (Komodowski) was born on August 28, 1935 at the family home in Leross, Saskatchewan. Noreen married Steve Feszczyn on November 25, 1951. They then homesteaded at a farm near Kelliher, Saskatchewan where she lived until her passing. Noreen enjoyed spending time gardening, crocheting and traveling. She was fond of her grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time with them. Noreen was predeceased by her parents, her father Martin and mother Elizabeth; sister Steffa (Harry), Adeline (Joe), Helen (John); brother Ed, Fernie (Dianne); sons Elmer and Darrell. She is survived by her loving husband Steve of 67 years, sons Larry (Darlene), Barry (friend Cathy); daughter Denise; daughter in law Debbie, grandchildren Jeff (Doray), Mark, Shane, Cheryl (Ryan) Jason (Kristy), Carol (Taylor), Craig, Daniel. Laura (Taylor); great grandchildren Kylee, Hudson, Ella, Lily, Cruz and Wyatt. Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church under the auspices of St. Paul United Church in Kelliher. Rev. Brian Mee officiated. Song Leader, Leonard Varga led in the singing of the hymns, "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art". The Interment followed in the Kelliher Memorial Gardens with Jeff Feszczyn, Laura Fleming, Mark Feszczyn, Shane Feszczyn, Ernie Kokoski and Lorne Komodowski serving as casket bearers.
