Sending sincere condolences to Shirley, Jason and Trevor. I had the pleasure of working with Bill for many years through Maple Farm Equipment/Pattison Agriculture as he helped with our marketing and newspaper placements. He was always great for making suggestions as he new his readers and what they wanted to see. He cheerily came in every Thursday to drop off the paper, shoot the breeze and get a glimpse into next week's plans. Bill would take the time to converse with everyone here, knowing them as friends, passing acquaintances or past co-workers. We will miss Bill's visits, his cheery disposition and his consideration on ensuring he assists in portraying our business in the best light in the paper. Rest well, Bill knowing you were more than "the guy from the paper" to us here, you were a good friend and we looked forward to seeing you come through the doors. You will be missed.

My most sincere condolences to Billy's family at this time. Billy was a childhood friend whom I grew up with in Powassan on Edward Street. I enjoyed many laughs and great fun growing up with Billy and our group of closeknit friends. I remember his great sense of humor and how proud he was driving the group around town in his father's Chevy. He was a wonderful friend to all of us and created many fond memories during our teenage years.

Bill and I were best of friends for years and years and we are both from Powassan Ontario. We tempted fate on many occasions and nearly succeeded. We were part of a solid group of friends and had many a good time when his parents left him in charge of the house when they went on holidays. Bill went west and carved himself a good living In Yorkton. For years we would do phone calls on our Birthdays as they were on the same day and the same year. I will miss you Billy and you will always be in my thoughts around our birthdays as well as when I think back to our beginnings at home. To use a Red Skeleton saying at the end of his TV shows 'Good Night and May God Bless'
